In his years overseeing The Winery Restaurant and Terrace Wine Bar at Peller Estates, Chef Jason Parsons has often looked across the vineyard toward Riverbend Inn and wondered, “What if?”

As his Peller Estates kitchen garden expanded from a small plot to a 10-acre farm, Chef Parsons’ dream to reimagine the culinary program at Riverbend Inn also took root.

That dream has become a reality when Chef Parsons and his talented culinary team launch their fresh take on Niagara French Bistro Cuisine at Oaklands Restaurant.

Chef Parsons’ ingredient-driven dishes will shine the spotlight on an ever-changing lineup of freshly picked produce and thoughtfully sourced proteins. These seasonal superstars will be accompanied by a carefully curated cast of award-winning Niagara wines and creative cocktails.

Oaklands is a seasonal restaurant. We serve Breakfast daily year-round, and Lunch and Dinner from May to September. Our sister property, The Winery Restaurant at Peller Estates offers Lunch and Dinner daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. year-round.

The restaurant is open to our guests and the public.

Breakfast – 8:30 – 10:30 AM Daily
Brunch 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM Friday to Sunday
Lunch 12:00 – 4:00 PM Friday to Sunday
Dinner – 4:00 – 8:00 PM Friday to Sunday

Executive Chef Jason Parsons

Jason Parsons brings 35+ years of culinary experience from some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, and now guides the culinary brigade at both Peller Estates Winery and Riverbend Inn.

Recognized as one of Canada’s most distinguished chefs, Jason is inspired by the bounty of ingredients from Niagara’s farmers. Jason takes pride in combining his fine-dining experience with fresh, locally produced ingredients. He is a staple in the culinary industry and has inspired and changed the dining world in Canada and abroad.

Jason has been a Culinary Guest Expert on the popular TV show CityLine for 20+ years, entertaining and informing viewers across Canada.
